Sudan Post - 3 Milliemes Colour Error?

Hello all. I have a 3 milliemes Sudan Post stamp in my collection, with a cancellation date of 26 October 1911, and the stamp is purple in colour throughout. I can only find the same value stamp online which has colours green and purple. Is my stamp possibly a colour printing error? Any thoughts much appreciated. Many thanks.

Notice the difference between your item and the stamp. Yours has no perforations and very large margins which tells you that yours is not a stamp but rather a cutout from postal stationary.
