*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***
Hi everyone, posting for the first time and apologies as this is probably a common question.

Can someone please advise brand album types that has pockets done exactly as in the attached image. For example, I looked through all the albums by Lighthouse and they are not correctly designed.

Ideally need 14+ double sided pages in A4 or 81/2 ×11, must be rigidly bound with rigid cover.

Please reference the images as an example, thanks so much!

Why an album in the first place?
Check the Lighthouse VARIO series of binders and sheets for example. There are pages for all stamp sizes so you don't have the "one size has to fit all" problem.

Nobody can suggest a album/ stockbook until they know what your trying to do . Do you plan to use it as a country collection per each binder ,or to hold inventory of multiple same stamps , maybe one country per page .

Give us a idea where your going .

One of the silly things I seen this past week was the $200,000 inventory of one Netherlands largest stamp stores at Kelleher Auctions . They showed many lots with stockbooks for each county . I could NOT tell if those were complete sets or not . I was trying to figure out were they 8 complete sets or did they have one complete and then 7 broken sets. This lack of information plus what is MNH , hinged or incomplete sets ,then where the stockbooks complete of all the issues for the year of issue or piece meal missing some sets .

Sure keep your stamps how you want but don't confuse a experience viewer with what your showing them .

The actual pages you show rather belong to the previous generation of stock-books - I think Safe made stock-books with leaves like this, but they're more awkward for inserting stamps than the current standard types. If you want the double-hinged binding, there are books in the Lighthouse range of this type.

Thanks, this actual album is 40+ yo, you are correct. The issue is that all new albums I see do not have the bottom of the pocket strip recessed below the page surface. They are just a cheap heat stake on the surface. Such design catches stamps when you are sliding them upwards out of the pocket.

Hi, ebforce,

NSK asked if there was a logo on your stock book.

I have what appears to be a very similar stock book that I bought a stamp collection in at a stamp show this year. The stock book looks like it could easily be 40+ years old. It appears to have an elephant logo on the front, and a handstamp in the back that says made in Berlin Germany, but there is no company name anywhere.

While my stock book is very durable, I don't like it because when I try to insert a stamp into one of the pockets, it can easily get snagged on the edge of the cardboard at the bottom of the pocket above, which is raised slightly. I'll only use it until I soak and press the stamps that are in it, then I'll store them somewhere safer.
