Chronology number 55. In fact, there are two types of brands, for example number 55, the main difference between the second type is a broken cross on the crown; a brand with the date 9.6.01. You will later see the same chronology with a broken cross on other brands that I will publish in this post. crown and this is already a variety!!! In this post I will publish a chronology of brands such as 55,57, etc. I would also highlight some numbers as a third type, since the brands also differ in paper!!! It will be interesting.

Pair number 57 also shows us two varieties. The brand with the cancellation date of 5/27/01 also has a broken cross on the crown. Even the cancellation dates for rooms 55 and 57 are distinguished by two types. With 1900 this is the first variety, with 1901 this is the second variety since these cancellation dates have a broken cross on the crown. Even Michel won't tell you this, just kidding :) |

Another pair of 55s, printed on completely different paper and that's a fact. All the evidence is in front of you!!! If you compare all 55 issues that I published you will see this difference!!! |

There are a couple of members that are very knowledgeable about earlier German issues. From their posts, it is evident there were several printings of the "Germania" that are listed. From your incoherent posts,I have no idea what requires 'evidence.'
But where damage on the back of a stamp that looks brown but white where the damage is, the question arises whether we are looking at different papers or at the same papers of which one has suffered heavy environmental damage.
Also, when stamps are printed over a long period of time, it is very common to find paper varieties, colour varieties, etc. |

Unfortunately, this is an English (mostly) website. You can get better answers by phrasing your statements/questions in English. |

The third type of number 55 differs in the quality and color of the paper. Plate defect on the letter S. Professionals should notice such defects!!! Sincerely!! |

Why didn't you also note the white spot in the "O" just to the left? Both are just minor inking issues. |

123ber:You have recently posted a number of questions about details about some German stamps. Language and terminology makes it difficult for some readers to understand what you are trying to ask. Because this is a United States based website, you might have better access to German specialists on one of the German based philatelic forums. One I use is here occasionally is: https://www.philaseiten.de/cgi-bin/...139&CP=0&F=1You do have to register to participate, but that should be no problem. There are also several others I have used in the past, and found the members there to be quite knowledgeable and helpful. Mike |
