The Michel number is 141, issued in 1920. So all printings are post-war. This stamp comes in a tremendous ranges of shades from almost pure yellow to reddish orange. |

Cancels that can be dated are additional clues. Not definitive, but useful. |

I found the pre-war issues in Scott 1840-1940 Specialized Catalogue. These listing WERE NOT in the Scott Standard Catalogue. If you have access to the Scott Specialized Catalogue, you should find the pre-war issues. I use the 1919 version of the Specialized Catalogue. |

You have two stamps cancelled late in 1920. You have two experts telling you it, neither is a wartime issue, nor a pre-war issue, but a post-war issue (from 1920).
Both point at the same stamp. |

So, you are stating that the Scott Specialized is incorrect even though it clearly states the issues are pre-war? That's pretty bold. I will now attempt to find these in the Michel Specialized. |

From posts about Scott listings of European stamps on this forum, I am not impressed with the manner in which Scott lists European stamps. |

Did you even check the specialized catalog? Are you guys saying there are no 10pf germania that are orange red? |

Are you suggesting Germania and PostmasterGS have no idea what they are talking about?
Given the choice between what they write and what Scott lists in whatever catalogue, I will go with what they write. |

This is Scott 83j (certified): The orange stamp at the beginning of this topic looks like Scott 119, catalog value mint = 25 cents. |

You guys can be pretty negative. As I asked did you check the specialized catalogs. Scott calls them pre-war and michel shows they were printed in 1915 on page370, but that is in Michel 2017. |

You are not looking for a second opinion. You are looking for someone who confirms you have an expensive stamp. |

Come on man, the stamp in the first comment isn't even the right color. Not in the same planetary system let alone the same neighborhood. This is silly. |
