baseball is a foreign sport to me,
I have never watched a full game in my entire life.
If I were collecting topical, I would include
your first example, it may be softball but has
to be included, as it is undetermined.

Republic of Korea (South Korea) 4th September 1982 27th World Baseball Championship Series, Seoul Designed - Lee, Keun-moon.  I have never played baseball but, when based in Korea, I tried out in a practice "range". Suffice to say I felt like a coconut on a coconut shy at the fair! Probably to do with being left-handed, rare in S. Korea, the marks on the ground indicating where to stand so as not to be the target of the powerful ball-firing machine were of no use to me. My positioning therefore took a few attempts as the balls being projected at me were liable to have taken my head off had they made contact! (The copious quantities of Korean beer may have dulled the pain, but might have had something to do with my poor hand-eye co-ordination). |
