Scott 331 With Purple And Red Lines On Back

These are faded lines. Mostly straight and also crossing each other and they also include most of the time fine red lines some are very faint. All of these have the red lines. Both color of lines only seen on the back of these stamps. All on perf 12, 1 cent franklin stamps . Also when you shine a light through the stamps these lines become very faint.

just ink transfer from stamps being placed on top of writing....no value

Sorry I don't understand, on top of what writing? These are all lines, no text. And how and when is it being transferred?

Old time school notebook paper had these lines and they were not waterproof. It is my thought that other paper or envelopes could exist and your lines are an offset of that type of ink.
