I could use a little help with an i.d. on this cancel...

The closest I could come in guessing letter combinations that gave me any results in a Google search is Bukuran, in Indonesia, but I didn't see India stamps used in Indonesia in my SG.

So, what does it really say?

Thanks for looking.

Collin

Place of the Bengal Tiger, Vast Temples, Monsoons,
deep forests, snakecharmers, strange dark skinned men with Turbans,
a young English schoolboy could get lost for hours
dreaming about that far off place.

None of my search queries included a "D" so mystery solved. I spent a few minutes hoping the "India Used Abroad" section of SG would include Java, but it was not to be.

Thanks to all.

C.

To the pedant maybe, but surely one references current location.
Using your methodology I may bring up an Australian example
and write "Brisbane NSW" which would confuse.

Nice one Tony,
has that curious "OUT" in the CDS.
I have noted that in examples up to the mid 1970's
