Emperor Spock And His GB Collection

well uptill today I was not a GB collector by a long strecth other than a few purchases here and there.


This morning my friend decided to send me 2 albums of GB from 1851 onwards . so long story short I have become an overnight GB collector and yes they have used stamps and hinged stamps in the album. you guys can hoot with laughter about that if you like :)

i am thinking I should write him and tell him that he forgot to send the penny black :) and that it comes in different perfs and I am looking for mnh :) unless your cheap means a $ then I wont bother him :)

I am going to discuss with K on the effects of light on old postage stamps. I know we dont use it on paintings and I certainly dont want to handle them so ill have to click them inside the album :) if we can get pics you guys can tell me if any of them are worth anything I doubt it but its a nice thought and thats what counts.
