As I continue looking through my relatives stamp collection I found this grouping of old Afghanistan stamps. Can anyone tell me me anything about them or if they are rare? Thanks

It looks like they paid $1.00 or less for each of those damaged stamps. Why would you think they were rare?

A corner of the stamp was removed when cancelled, so this is how used examples are normally found. The missing corners don't qualify these stamps as "faulty".

They appear genuine from the scans. Current catalog values run about +/- $30 so probably would fetch $5 on ebay.

Partime - They paid $1.00 for these in the 1950s… I'm not sure if that was considered expensive or not back then

The first stamp has the tear-out and ink line cancel
The last stamp has the red ink smudge cancel from Peshawar.
They are all 1 shahi values.
