Hi, I have discovered an anomaly (or a problem) with one of my dad's old stamps, and can't find anything like it on line.

Hi, this appears to be a postal card or postal stationery cut-out. Not an imperf postage stamp.

What do you think the problem is?


Normally one should post both sides of an item. Is there writing on the back of yours?.The one here does.

The problem is that I've spent all day online trying to chase down if this is real or not - and I thought I was getting better at this!
Now that I look at it properly - and at the back - of course it looks like it's on cardboard.
Thanks - it didn't look so obvious in context...
What do you think it could be?

Yours is cut from a post card, probably 1938, listed as #CP34 in Robson Lowe's Encyclopedia?
