Jamestown Stamp Company From The '80s

So in the early 80's I decided to try stamp collecting, and found Jamestown Stamp Company in the back of one of my SciFi magazines (I think).

I set them aside when I joined the Navy, and recently found them again. They aren't cataloged, from multiple countries from different years, and probably not worth the price on the individual wax paper envelopes they are in. For the most part they seem to still be in good condition.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a quick way to catalog them, as they are still in the original Jamestown Stamp company?

If they are still in the original glassines then they probably have the Scott Catalog number right on them. You can post a picture or two for us to help. As far as value, don't believe the price on the glassines and just understand now that you overpaid for them … we all did the same at one point.

I like your handle AdmiralSpock! Those old sci-fi magazines were a hoot and I still have a soft spot for those old stamp packets. They run the gamut but are mostly common stamps. Partime is right that they probably have scott catalogs on them somewhere. Post a couple photos, they are fun to see.

I didn't know they grouped like that. Could be almost anything in each packet, I guess. Need to check individually for exact Scott Numbers, though country should be easy to figure out.
