I see Canada and Aunstralia did a joint issue in 1999. Bothe countries issued souvenir sheets which appear tp be identical (Scot# AU 1631a and CA 1779a).

Can someone please let me know if these shees are the "SAME" or are there any differneces? I do not have the AU sheet with me and I wanted to make sure before I buy. Based on the pictures on the internet, I couldn't find any differneces.

Thank you in advance

From my review of both the Canadian and Australian items in the Scott catalogue, they were issued jointly. Unsure if there is maybe a paper, tagging, cachet or printer difference as I only have canadian cover. While both of the joint issues on the sheet were perforated, there are perf differences on similar single stamps . Australia issued 1631 (Marco Polo) with a perf of 14 & 1/2 x 14 on Jan 15, 1998.
On March 19, 1999 Australia issued 1631a - sheet of 2, 1631 perf 13 & 1/2 & Canada #1779b.
On the same date Canada issued 1779 with a perf of 13 x 12.5
Also - Canada issued 1779a - sheet of 2, 1779b perf 13 and Australia .85 issue
