I was going through some of the boxes of stamps I had and noticed a pretty good amount of Disney stamps from various countries. My daughter is really into Disney so I figured I would get them out and find a way to display them so that she could look at them. Value wise are these worth putting in black mounts and putting or pages or should I just use the cheap hinges. I know I did not pay to much for them. There are like 200 or so singles, 20 or so s/s and about 20 sheets. I was thinking about putting them on some quad pages since I cannot find a set of album pages designed for Disney stamps. I am just uneasy when it comes to using the cheap mounts if these will have value some day. They are from like Grenada and such.

How do you display your Disney stamps?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you have uncovered a nice topical collection. Mystic Stamp Co. offers Disney pages and albums.

My wife has 3-4 albums of Disney stamps, but she hasn't touched them in a few years. Most of hers are MNH and mounted, not hinged, it is just a personal preferance. However, it can be a bit pricey, especially of low value stamps.

I am looking for Disney Pixar CARS stamps for my Route 66 collection.

I looked at Mystic and I do have a album I bought from them but they did not sell pages made up with images, just grid. I think I may print some grid pages myself and mount them. I found a site with printed album pages for tropicals but they were a little out of my price range. My little girl is in love with the stamps and as soon as she saw them she lit up. I just don't want her to mess them up. I guess I will eat the cost and buy more of the black mounts and do it right. They may not be worth a ton but at least I can keep them nice and clean for her later. I did manage to buy a book on Disney stamps on Amazon. It has lots of pictures of all the sets so I can at least get a little detail on what I am missing from the sets to put on the pages so that I can leave a spot.

It is a manageable size for a topical collection, so I'd go with the mounts.

You may still be able to purchase some of the recent US Disney stamps via the USPS online store at face value.

I started playing with some new software to make my own pages for the Disney stamps. I am using AlbumEasy. Once I got down the formatting and how the program works the pages are not to bad. I can have my Disney pages with a couple of days work. There are no images but I can make the boxes the size I want with ease. Thanks for your help. I have to put in a order for more mounts and I will be set :)

I just joined the community so I know you've probably done something by now with your daughter but mystic does have a Disney book and pages with images. You have to ask to be apart of the walk Disney club its a different department with a few specialist that can help you. Disney stamps are all I collect so it took me a while to figure that out myself
