Hello fellows, I found this interesting item going through a large lot of general foreign. Looks like the "zero" or possibly the "four" is missing form the value. I examined the stamp under high magnification and found no evidence of surface scraping or any other type of tampering. It has a cancel but full MNH gum so I suspect it might be a CTO but I'm not familiar with what the CTO's on that issue look like. I'd like an opinion on this. Is it common or have I found something of significance? Thanks for your comments. Wolf-==-

Note your stamp has "forint" under the numeral, rather than "filler" of the lower denominations.
Thus it appears to be J227a, small "2", with poor printing registration.
