Wow... I think that perhaps it could be because although you can find papers so thin that they might look like pelure, they really aren't "pure" or "real" pelure. Pelure doesn't exist in the 5th Anniversary issue, but rather very thin papers below the 0.065 range... it's a theory.
To recap:
two papers from the 5th Anniversary issue, thick and thin:
one thick, spongy, and opaque;
the other, thin, smooth, and transparent.


Now, an authentic Pelure from another issue I'm studying, .. This is an authentic Pelure.

Now, looking at the examples of paper from the 5th Anniversary issue (I think the complete difference is noticeable for all us), does an authentic Pelure exist in the 5th Anniversary issue? Well, it could be... Now, does authentic Pelure exist in the 5th? Where does the thin, transparent paper fall? I think the answer points to thin paper below 0.065, which is equivalent to said "Scott´s 5th Anniversary Pelure".
