Nordfrim, Not What It Used, To Be

It Used to Be that Nordfrim was an easy company to work with. I went back there yesterday and placed an order for two Lighthouse albums. During checkout I got a message that their system tells them I am not human. They want someone from the card company to call them to verify I am. My company will not do this. Today I killed my order.

This company got really defensive on this issue so now I cannot order from them. I spent $30 or so more buying through ebay, they are not now questioning my humanity.

Has anyone else run into this?

Stupid does what stupid wants. Is this the new world of reality? I think not. Its now a world of AI and heck with humans.

Well here I was digging in on this company while grossly misspelling my thread title. Can I get a correction here?

My wife comment was that someone must have swindled them recently.

I've had pretty good luck with Nordfrim when buying Wonderboxes. I would buy a Wonderbox along with a stockbook. However, I bought a $220 box and the invoice stated "Interesting contents" All I got was a box filled with on-paper common stamps. Granted, I might have looked over something, but doubtful. Since the $220 fiasco, I have stopped buying Wonderboxes, but I do have a subscription of German and China stamps. I enjoy getting those in the mail, but I think they are a bit overpriced, but thats okay.

Well guess what happened today. I was thinking about this vendor then went back and tried again, and wound up placing an order for three binders with cases with NO issues, I got a reply confirming my order. and can use my card with them

I don't question they had some issues with credit cards but letting someone about 18 years old to decide if some 'issue' exists is stupid. So far they do think so far that I exist.
