These were in my grandfathers pages and didn't have much info on them. He wrote in pencil under the 1, 3 and 6 pence stamps: 12- $5.00, 7- $15.00, and 22- $10.00 on the bottom of the page he valued the entire page at $30.00 but I have no idea when he wrote these prices in or how he was doing his research.
It looks like there were a lot of forgeries of these stamps over the years so who knows if these are real or not. I tried to do my own research but there was just too much to take it all in. What is the best way to figure out if they are authentic?
The quality of each one of those is very poor, so even if the catalog values shown are accurate, they would only be able to sell as "fillers" for a very low price … maybe 20 cents each, in my opinion. Maybe others will offer a more hopeful value.
