I have been collecting for a few years, I can still count them on one hand if doing so by decades. During that time I have seen maybe two country produced delegate handouts for a UPU Congress. With on reason to think otherwise, I guessed they were made by the host country. Now that I have checked, I realize the guess was wrong.

Until today I did not know we, the USA, produced such an album which was done for the 1947 UPU Congress held in Paris, France. The USA hosted the 1897, fifth, and 1989, twentieth, both held in Washington DC.

Can anyone add examples of such delegate albums for other UPU Congresses?

Any comments regarding such albums? It seems an out in the weeds collecting area but was chased by 6 bidders.

The album appears to have all the stamps associated with 1947, including all dollar value Prexies and I have reproduced all of the page images as shown by the ebay seller in his listing (afewgoodstamps). The listing closed today.

I included a resized photo of the introductory text in hope providing easier reading. As to quality, this is the best I have at this time. Edit: Since the photos don't enlarged when clicked, if there is a page you want to see enlarged, I can do so as I did with the introduction page.

Thankst's the one Tiger Dude. I posted the pictures as the listing will die in 90 days or so. That was my high bid as well. My friend gets some interesting and weird stuff for his weekly auctions.
