Hi all,

Anyone else excited about the 250 Years of Delivering Stamps that are coming out tomorrow (7/23)? I like how all the stamps fit together like a puzzle. Is there a name for that style?

I am planning on buying a sheet and then getting them all canceled from various spots and then reassembling them. Would anyone be willing to mail me back my stamp if I send a SASE to you? I can do this with IRL friends but there would not be as much cancellation variation as they would all be from one or two locations.

Since Royal Mail celebrated its 350th anniversary a few decades ago this must be a postal service that was a relative late arrival.

Yes. Sorry for being vague. I was speaking of the US postage stamp. I tried to include an image which would have helped make it clear but it did not attach properly (user error, I imagine).

Stamp Tramp,
I would be glad to return stamps to you, but I think you will need 50 posts first, due to forum rules. Welcome!

Thanks Jr. I knew some areas you can't post in until you've been around for a while (and I get it). I didn't know my post fell into that category. Apologies to the mods.

During its first hundred years the Royal Mail served the American Colonies.

During the last 250 years the United States Post Office has served the former colonies.

The 250 Delivering is a fun issue for sure. Linn's Stamp News calls it a storyboard pane. I would offer to mail back your stamp, but it might likely receive a very similar postmark to one you can get on your own. I am just up the road apiece from you in Syracuse. Best of luck with your quest.

Neat! I'm new to collecting. I did make it to a stamp show in Syracuse though on June 8th of this year. Was at a hotel. Maybe I saw you there.
