This Netherlands stamp was in a recent mixture purchase.

The stamp seems to be a variable rate stamp generated in 2001. The value is interesting - 0.45 florins?
It is not listed in the Michel Automatenmarken-Spezial 2013/2014 catalog.
Can anybody shed some light on this stamp?

Thanks,
Robert

A note in the NVPH catalogue tells that the variable value machines were taken out of service mid 2001.On 1 July 2001, Hytech counter franking machines (baliefrankeermachines) were put into service at the post offices.

(I have no idea what a post office is.)

When I read "counter printed" a light bulb went on in my head. The International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog lists it - PO-A3 (Hytech machine).

Thanks again,
