Because these were so heavily faked, I collect these as certified joint pairs or line pairs. I've now amassed 11 of the 14 pairs. Five pairs are MNH; the others a unused hinged. Alas, my budget won't allow me to fill the three missing pairs.....unless I win tonight's lottery, or perhaps I should consider a Go-Fund_Me request???????

I like your W/F coil pairs.
I too collect the W/F perf 12 flat plate coils in pairs ... but you've got me beat. I only have 8 of the 14. I would have 9 but a few years ago I decided to resubmit my 387 pair to PF. I had an older good PF cert for the pair & considered not tempting fate ... but the pair seemed too well-centered for 387 and, if good, I could have the pair graded. Unfortunately, given a 2nd look, the PF decided the pair was fake.

Given the extensive faking that occurred with the W/F flat plate coils of all perforation gauges, I collect them as joint or line pairs. For one thing, it makes finding the single line watermarks a bit easier with pairs vs. singles.

OMG uboatnut, I love your w/f pairs and I love how you arranged and certified them. Thank you for showing us your collection.

I just recently started learning about W/F's (within the last 2-3 years) and all the basic info that goes along with understanding each Scott numbered stamp I then started collecting them.. I think I have about 2 or 3 pairs plus many singles.

When I learned that W/F's had so many different varieties I fell down the rabbit hole like everyone else and now I'm hooked on finding all of the varieties.

Great showing uboatnut, of a difficult area.

I have some but not as well filled.

You have focused dedication to stick with the area. I'm always running after other things, so will likely not complete a set anytime soon

Also, I'm glad to see that others get pairs or line pairs like I do.

Pretty stamps! Why not just omit the rarities on your custom album pages. . .just pretend they don't exist instead of being reminded that you don't have $240,000 for a stamp.

I have more than a touch of OCD. Now if I win the lottery, $240,000 USD won't be a problem, but until then............
