I've had this title on a couple of online used book shop wish lists, last week it showed up at one shop but was a paperback edition for $10. I did a web search and found that Subway Stamps had the hardback edition on sale for $15. I'm excited to add this to my library, where I have Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Stamps of the United States 1933-45 by Brian C. Baur (hadback) and FDR and the Post Office by Anthony P. Musso (paperback). The latter is signed, I presume it is authentic.

A collection I acquired belonged to a Civil Service Commander who was in the office with FDR on Jan.5, 1938.

Rather than announce you've found a book you were looking for -- which I'm sure is nice -- why not tell us how good the book is?

I'll be happy to once I've read it, which will be a winter project. I was excited to find it, and the hardcover at $15.00, as I've been looking for it for awhile. When I have located a copy through a "want list" it was usually the paperback reprint, and it sold rather quickly. I also notice that right now a copy is listed on e-bay for $121.49, which is ridiculous, but the only copy that shows up there.

I thought I was posting this in the "what was in your mailbox today" thread, but it appears I didn't manage that.
