Well, the title says it: Denmark - Facit #28 possible v1, 8ore for 3ore.
Put it under a scope, got a pretty good picture, of course cancels not playing nice. Could not get retroreveal to take it.
After a year off because of a change in medical, decided I didn't want to sell, so am getting back to it. Starting with some Scandinavia.

I think retroreveal could clear it up, will try to get it working.
Thanks,
pat

Postmark reveal at https://www.postmark-reveal.com/ shows that the underlying stamp is 3 ore (both 3's are circled in red):

So probably Scott 25 with normal (not inverted) frame.

To me it looks like Facit 38 perf 12˝x12 3/4. The 28 v1 is perf 14x13˝ and the 3 that should look like an 8 is not the big one, it is the small 3 at down right in the oval band

Thanks for looking. A guy can dream. The postmark really obscured it, but it is a nice clear date. I'm thinking the complete town name is Rungsted.

Aolsson - Thanks for looking. I could not find an example, so I thought the reference was to the larger.
This time, not being lazy, I took a more detailed look at the stamp itself. It is as you said (38), 12-3/4 x 12-3/4, Crown III. I found in a mixed pile and will add it to my collection.

I'm seeing Ringsted, not Rungsted, though I could be wrong.

Both exist. It does look like Ringsted. That is a town.

Rungsted, now, would be the postal district Rungsted Kyst. But was it once Rungsted?
