I am in the process of organizing a stamp collection that was passed down to me.

I assume this is a catalogue from an older company, perhaps. I found several older Stamp club catalogues from 50's to the 70's.

I found a few of these in envelopes, with these types of items, and not sure what I am looking at.

Thank you

It looks like an announcement for an upcoming stamp release from August 27, 1970. One of the inner pages says "The Polish Post will issue a set of 8 stamps entitled Miniatures". The CTO-like cancellations were to prevent someone from cutting the stamps off the announcement and using it to mail a letter. Fancy embossing on the perforations, I've never seen that before. Interesting.

Thank you.

I found 2 others after posting this one.

I can only assume they kept them as a reference. They kept many Kenmore stamp catalogues.

The fancy emboss threw me off.
