Lalo.Man - Nice cover but the SF strike is a type 2. The cds year date would most likely preclude the stamp being either a 64 or 64b. Thanks for sharing your cover. |

Well... You might be right , when measuring the cog wheel I rounded up , since it clearly passes the 10mm mark.  The base of the first number is just about the same width as the base on the last number . When I zoom in I make out a 1 in the center of the last number . That's what I see. All opinions are welcome . Thanks guys  |

The base of the first and last digits may be the same, but the center of the digits is what matters -- the middle of the first digit is narrow a very much shaped like a 1. The middle of the last digit is fatter, rounder, I would guess a 3 maybe a 2 but not a 1. Besides, genuine SF cogwheel cancels are not known prior to January 1862. Still a nice cover to have. |
