Help With French Unperforate Stamp

I need your help with this French example of the "Peace and Commerce" type, an unperforated example that I think may correspond to the French colonies, specifically SC#2... But I'm not sure, the cancellation corresponds to St. Omer Pas De Calais, year 1895.

It is a cut square from postal stationary.

Perhaps it could be, but the paper is thin and malleable like a common stamp, very different from the hard and rigid cardboard common in postal stationery.
