I was going through my dad's estate and noticed he had Scott binders in 2 size when I was lining up the slip case. It was over an inch difference in width so wider page. Did they make it bigger at some point?

I'm pretty sure the slip cases for three-ring binders are wider than the slip cases for the older two-post binders.

LOL - this is so funny. "I'm pretty sure the slip cases for three-ring binders are wider than the slip cases for the older two-post binders." - I just observed this fact yesterday when moving some pages to a three-ring binder.

I finally got a chance to look at them in detail and yes the difference is the 3 ring binder.

I had never seen a Scott 3 ring since I had switched to Mystic and Vario binders back in the 90s.

I now how have two large boxes of new red/black boxes and the binders I need to sell.

Estate work is painful.

Just received email (Angore; perhaps somewhere for you to unload yours as a large lot letting IHobb enjoy selling them individually or in groups?):

Scott Album Binders and Slipcases
Previous Owned and in Excellent to Near New Condition
We have not received an order of Scott Binders this calendar year and our stock exhausted several months ago. So we sought out and found a good stock of previously owned binders, and a limited number of slipcases

For the National and Specialty Album Collectors, we have both the traditional binder, and the new style with hinges on the spines. For the International Album Collector, we have good condition binders, both regular and jumbo size.

We have not sold used items as a rule (cancelled stamps the exception, of course), but the draught in availability of new binders has created a pent-up need for binders, and when the new binders become available again, they will certainly be at a higher price, so these bargains are to be taken advantage of now."

On the webinar with Jay Bigalke, he mentioned a similar program but really do not know what was done.
