For research purposes am seeking images of Customs Fee stamps (Scott RL series) multiples, both on and off document. They appear to be far more scarce than one would think...

Well, it was a pair before someone faked the cancel on what someone wants to be a RL1b, From the PF online records.

Dan this is harder than I thought.

Yeah, there are two of those bogus bisects in the PF cert archive, BOTH sold by the same dodgy auction house... hmmm... does two make a pattern?

Thus far my research has come up with a total of four used RL1 pairs, one used RL1 strip of 3, and an RL9 unused strip of 5.

That's it.

I suspect that multiples were very rarely needed, and there will not be a whole lot more.

Do we know how many were printed of each denomination? The Scott Specialized doesn't say, and The Boston Book does not include customs fee stamps.

Here is the item that sent me down this rabbit hole, acquired at the Indianapolis MSDA show 2 weeks ago. It occurred to me that I'd not ever seen any RL multiples on documents, either in person or in pictures.
