Here is a letter I found in a large stamp lot purchased over 20 years ago and found a few copies of the stamp over the years . I have 3 examples of this printing error .

The point is that the marking is NOT on every stamp.

The placement of the black arrow in the original post could be confusing.
For clarity, the *red* arrow points to the extra circle in question....

Thanks John ,I was using a small paper black arrow ,not familiar with using software to put a computer arrow on a picture .

Got two e-mails on this subject this week , one was a purchase request and one was for a full copy of the letter . Since I want to keep the stamps because there is a shade difference between the two stamps .

The second was for a full face of the letter ,which is 60 years old ,So I don't think it breaks any rules here . Here is a full page if you want to down load it for your records .
