Just curious if this is a #157 J Grill. I think it is but want to be sure. Appreciate it!

There is a counterfeit of this grill known, so it would have to be compared to both a genuine and counterfeit example to be certain.

I see two different stamps, both of which exhibit a grill pattern. Wouldn't it be helpful to say which stamp/grill you are asking about? What makes you believe the grill you are asking about is indeed a J-grill? Also, what is the other stamp being shown for?

The stamp on the right is the one in question. In question being the key phrase. I was looking for input on this stamp. I never claimed that it WAS a J grill.

My reading of the reverse inscription is that it references an "I" grill, not a "J" grill. VERY different.

The "I" grill was impressed by the National BNCo, the J-grill by the Continental BNCo. It's color is wrong for Continental.

What about this stamp prompts a question about the "J" grill.
