Hi the existing threads are very old or out of date, which leads me to my question. I have seen a few examples of stamp art, and given some of my kiloware multiples (100+ of the US flag 37 cent stamp, the purple statue of liberty stamp, etc) to a kindergarten teacher to use with her class however she wants.

Do you have any more ideas of how to use kiloware leftovers or other common stamps to spark an interest in collecting among kids (in some circles the term "young people" where it applies to stamps includes my 51 year old doesn't look a day over 47 self)?

Being at a school as a coordinator (no administrative authority but able to make contact with multiple departmemts), I am as well positioned as anyone else to do it.

Will have to go outside of this group for answers. Sometimes that happens. I can ask some friends who don't collect stamps and ask what would interest their kids in something like that.

@Tigerdude, my emotional maturity is less than my age. Or so my wife tells me!

I know of one young (Canadian) member here who might be interested in your duplicates. She, however, has not reached the limit of 50 posts.

To support the hobby, a moderator might be willing to mediate.

Thanks for trying! Seems I have asked the $64,000 question, that none of us can answer. The APS has made recruiting new members a priority, according to last month's magazine. I would like to be part of the solution...
