I am putting together a little collection of physically small postage stamps such as the US Indian Head Cent stamp or the war-time stamps from South Africa. Does anyone have other suggestions to include in my collection - or is there a list of such stamps. Thanks all.

I don't remember the Scott numbers, but even smaller than the Indian Head penny include:

(look in first couple of pages of listings)
South Australia
South Africa

also, there are a bunch of very small stamps from Ajman/Manama and Umm al Quwain, that are not Scott listed. Many a few other Trucials, but those for sure. I think I remember seeing about 200-300 different ones in my collection, at or a little smaller than the Indian Head Penny. They are topicals of uniforms, sports, space, paintings, animals...

Ahh, sorry, poor reading comprehension again. I see you already know about the South African stamps.

Well they were at the time of printing that catalogue (1953?) :)
Philately is constantly evolving
so don't be surprised if there's smaller.

If you want some of the Victorian "bantams"
let me know, I have over 500.

The smallest value stamp:
not quite 2/5ths of a farthing.

discounting values created by stamps in hyperinflation.
