Hi all. was looking at these two what I beleive to be Scott 160 - the paper and color are different. Is this due to the wove versus laid paper? and which is which? the first one is very thin and tissue paper like, the other is thicker.

Thanks all! I am rusty.

Hi Mrita, good to see you back, missed your enthusiasm!

You might try holding the stamps up to a bright light, so that you can look thru the stamp, which should show you the difference between the two papers.

Hi Littleriverphil! hope you are great.

It is good to be back. ok, I think I got it. The first stamp is definitely laid paper :) I see the ribbed lines in the light. second is wove paper - smooth and even. Thank you so much. getting back into it.
