I need your help with this King Edward VII issue, as I usually use the postmark date to distinguish between the DeLaRue and Harrison&Son prints, but this time only the word RETPOR appears…could this type of cancellation be dated and used to determine which print run the issue belongs to?

The best way is to identify the printer: De La Rue or the Stamping Branch at Somerset House. If the first, you also need to know whether it was ordinary or chalk-surfaced paper.

This type of parcel cancellation was in use during the whole reign.
