Hi all,

Thanks so much for having me here.

I grew up in South Africa and am now living in Scotland. (This is relevant to the majority of the stamps I have.) I have been collecting stamps for about 10 years but not with much purpose or skill. I just love stamps and keep any that I get in the post and therefore friends and family often give me theirs too. As such I have a number of stamps from numerous counties but the bulk are from South Africa and Scotland.

I recently inherited my late father-in-law's stamps (they are not collated or displayed just torn off envelopes and kept in bags) which I plan to go through soon. I will post about them in the correct forum category later.

I look forward to learning a lot and making a few friends along the way.
Also as I have a lot of duplicates of the old South African stamps I was considering trying to do some swaps in the future once people get to know me here.

Kind regards
Elliememtalist

Welcome Ellie!

I have to ask, are there many stamp shops in Scotland now?

@rodgcam

Sorry I don't know how to reply to individual comments.

I am not sure what counts as many, but there are three Stamp shops near me that I can go to.
