Hi everyone, I recently came into a world stamp collection and accidentally unlocked a new obsession. I definitely didn't see myself becoming "that person" who stares at tiny pieces of paper with a magnifier… but here we are.
What surprised me most was the history. Every stamp feels like a tiny time traveler, and once I started trying to figure out the different types and varieties, I was hooked. Apparently, I enjoy measuring things in millimeters and arguing with perforations.
I'm the same way with coins, gems, and rocks too — if it's old, shiny, engraved, or came out of the ground, I'm interested. I'm here to learn, ask questions, and hopefully identify more things correctly than incorrectly.
