In comparison to Austria, Sweden used secular motifs for some of their Christmas stamps. In 1979 they had regional costumes. What they have to do with Christmas is beyond me and I can't show them because they were printed only via Photogravure and this thread is supposed to be strictly for our beloved engraved ones.What the heck  , here are 2 of them. Here are images of the two Red Cross semi-postal booklet stamps in a set depicting stained-glass window portraits of Herodias and of Simon the Magician in the Church of St. Joan of Arc, Rouen, designed and engraved by Albert Decaris, and issued by France on December 1, 1979, Scott Nos.
