Still so many great images being posted!
I see have some work to do bringing the index up to date but not long now until I should be able to find the time.

I managed to find a few more for my Slania collection.
This one I'd been looking for for a while from New Zealand.
Scott #1084 issued in 1994.

Heh Anthony, that $20 NZ is a real stunner, very sharp, clear, clean lines.
At first glance I didn't notice that there are flowers on the left
side.

So Slania engraved it, do you know who the printer ?

graphis, thanks for showing those Czechoslovakian souvenir sheets,
I hadn't seen them up close before.

The Czechs certainly had their share of master engravers.

Jindra was actually the given name of Jindra Schmidt.
He didn't like his German surname so when he began engraving
he would sign himself off as Jindra S.
There are a couple of exception where he actually used his full name.

Hi Litho,
There is some info on the Mount Cook $20 here. It is very a nice, large stamp.

Regarding the printer I'm guessing Asher & co?

This is probably my favorite thread on SCF -- 90 pages and still going strong.

I was hoping we could reach 100 pages by the end of this year
but it'll be touch and go.

I'm sure we'll get it up to 100,000 hits in the next couple of days
though.

Thanks for the link re $20 NZ Anthony.

I checked on Glenn Morgan's sitehttp://www.stampprinters.info/SPI_C...Leigh-Mardon regarding Asher & CO.

Turns out Asher & Company Pty. Limited was taken over by
Leigh-Mardon Pty. Limited in 1981.
LM in turn became a wholly owned subsidiary of American Bank Note Corporation in 1996.

Tough world out there for security printing companies.

Well graphis looks like you're doing your bit to get us up there
with those Austrian composers and one of the best engravers, Rudolf
Toth.
