Hello everyone! My name is Nadya, and I'm from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I've been working in the wine industry for 15 years. I've also been into postcrossing for a few years now, and while I was working on postcards, I started reading a lot about postage stamps. I also became fascinated with collecting wine and grape stamps. This is my first stamp forum.

I still haven't figured out what to look for here.
And my stamp collection is still very, very small. I only have three stamps! ))))))

My wife and I were in Tashkent in September 2024 and I wanted to get postally used stamps then, but I couldn't find them. All the dealers at the flea markets only had old USSR stamps, almost all "cancelled to order" stamps.

I did buy quite a few unused Uzbekistan stamps at the main post office in Tashkent, but I really prefer postally used stamps.

You live in one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. So many lovely parks, great architecture, and amazing subway stations art.

I've just started learning about the world of postage stamps and am exploring them. There are flea markets where people sell albums of old stamps. I'm just browsing through them. For my wine and grape theme, I received one stamp on a postcard from Luxembourg, and I bought two stamps from the USSR series about artists at a flea market in Tashkent.
