Greetings from Latin America!
Hello there, fellow philatelists and friends!
I'm Gus from Brazil, and it's an honor to be part of this forum and learn from you all!
With all due respect, I'd like to share with you all some of my philatelic interests:
I'm collecting postage stamps, maximum cards, postmarks, postal cards, FDCs, postal stationery, and other philatelic items necessarily containing a face value of 1 million or higher denominations (items from inflationary times). Countries: Germany, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Danzig, Greece, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Lebanon, Poland, Northern Cyprus, Turkey, Zaire, and Zimbabwe.
P.s. As you all can see, I really love exchanging (and swapping) ideas, knowledge, and items from (and about) severe chronic inflation and hyperinflation periods. I'm looking forward to getting in touch with collectors worldwide that also share similar interests…

Welcome to the form, I hope you enjoy your time here. I have found this form informative and very helpful when I need to find information. In some cases, I could not find the information on line but when I ran a surch here. I found information it seems u could not other places. Then there is always the members which are invaluable with the knowledge they process. |

Hi-- don't claim to be a member with invaluable knowledge, but welcome! I enjoy the German inflation stamps myself. My highest denomination stamp is 500 million marks. Might as well barter at that point! |

I was just popping in to say Welcome to Gus and got the nicest feeling when I saw the other replies.
I've been here almost 17 years and one of the first and certainly nicest people to greet me was Dianne Earl, who got here about a year before I did.
It's nice to see our 'community' has continuity. Sometimes, we have a bad egg or an irritable uncle, but I'm thankful for all the good eggs like Dianne.
