Am I just missing it???
...these 2 were in a collection marked as "plate scratches".
What does another pair of eyes see???

They are both #24, Type V. Some examples of Type V have plate scratches (best seen along the right side of the design) and some do not, depending on the relief. The stamp on the left is an F relief (no scratches) whereas the stamp on the right is a D Relief (scratches).
