Hi all, hope everyone is well. I am hoping for a little help! My partner has been given her grandmothers collection. We have 5 infers full of first day covers. We have no idea about stamps and any information on collectability and value would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks SC

Welcome. Unfortunately, you are not really providing information: - what type of FDCs - what country - which period.
The modern Royal Mail fdcs have almost no value. |

I save the ones with the Machin definitives and pass the rest onto a charity shop. There's more chance of something interesting on an FDC with definitives.
There appears to be a slight demand for the presentation packs containing mint stamps- about a pound or two each. |

Hello. I've acquired and sold a fair few GB decimal FDCs from the 1970s and 1980s and have made 10p per cover if lucky. Unfortunately, this was a "collectable" that was sold to us in the 1960s that has, in the main, proved anything but. |

Do yourself a favour by informing us what FDCs you have. Some are slightly more collectable than others. But, generally, what GeoffHa wrote holds true. Chances are they have little (or no) value, but better check, posting one or two pictures. |

Sadly, those are the standard Royal Mail FDCs. They make what GeoffHa wrote.
If you post covers you received from family members or friends, you might want to hide any name and address. |

@Christopherjohn
OP had posted pictures that clearly identified them as standard addressed Royal Mail FDCs with modern commemoratives. Royal Mail prints addresses on its standing-order FDCs.
OP did well to delete the pictures for privacy reasons.
These, normally, exist with two cancels: one relating to the subject and one for Tallents House, Edinburgh, Scotland. They are nice to collect, but have no value. The Star Wars ones shown might make a bit more than a few pence, but not much more. They are not rare at all. They will not make but a fraction of what they cost.
The fun is in the collection. If you buy them for their value, you will be disappointed. |

I may be mistaken, but I never saw any pics. But, now I understand why I didn't see any pics. |
