Can anyone identify this cancellation. This cover was sent from Fairfield,Conn to Bridgeport,Conn Could this been a Stratford Mark? The "C" in con could be a typeset error, or the comma before the "N"? David -DJD
It's a type of straight-line cancel, usually used on parcels, but you can find them used for other purposes like above. It's rather nice to see that cancel on postage due stamps as often I see postage due stamps with a "smudge" for a cancel.
