The Azad Hind Stamps are a set of Cinderella stamps designed by German artist Werner von Axster-Heudtlass (1898-1949), and printed by photogravure in 1943 in Nazi Germany for Subhas Chandra Bose's Azad Hind (Indian National Army). Here is an image of a stamp from the set depicting a map of India, a broken chain, and a pair of talwars (Indian curved sabers). - nethryk  |

This large (72 mm. wide) diamond-shaped label advertises the 1897 Paper and Stationery Goods Fair in Leipzig. The street map shows the viewer exactly where the event took place.  |
