On September 13, 1959, the USSR's Luna (Lunik) 2 spacecraft successfully impacted with the lunar surface east of Mare Serenitatis near the craters Aristides, Archimedes, and Autolycus. It was the first spacecraft to reach the surface of the Moon. Here is an image of a stamp celebrating this achievement, designed by Viktor Polasek (1911-1989), engraved by Ladislav Jirka, and issued by Czechoslovakia on September 23, 1959, Scott No. 938.

Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin (1934-1968) was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut. He was the first human being to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on April 12, 1961. Here is an image of a stamp depicting the Kremlin's Spasskaya Tower, rockets and radar equipment, with an attached label bearing a quote (translation?) by Soviet leader Nikita S. Khrushchev, printed by offset, and issued by the USSR (Russia) in April, 1961 to publicize this historic feat, Scott No. 2464.

The "Eagle" has landed: Forty-two years ago today, on July 20, 1969, the Apollo 11 spacecraft's lunar module landed in the Sea of Tranquility on the Moon. Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting Commander Neil Armstrong's first step onto the Moon's surface at 10:56PM EDT, designed by Paul Calle, engraved by Edward R. Felver (vignette) and Albert Saavedra (lettering), plus some lithography, and issued by the USA on September 9, 1969, Scott No. C76.

Nice stamp nethryk, but if it's Litho then it is Scott 2441.
According to Scott (2009) # 2442 is engraved.

If you have the engraved type, can you show it for comparison.
