Here's a few I have had in a stock book and have not looked at for many years, the 1934 green expo is damaged, but still some beauties. The engraving on the ABN copies is stunning under magnification.

Beautiful examples. I can't find it at the moment, but there was a previous post about the 1930 National Philatelic Exhibition in Boston (APS Convention) and displayed a purple variety of the Cinderella for that event. I just found a green example as well: These were produced by a firm, the McKenzie Engraving Company of Boston. |

That lower Americana series and the Tanks of the Allies pair would be nice to see close up if possible. They look great from far away. Curious how many are in the Tanks series, if you know? |

Thanks Lb, she was a beautiful ship, although I would not have liked to be down the boiler room.
Did you spy the Israel red cross Cinderella sheet on the "Phossick" thread?

LB1, those Eaton's engraved issues are fantastic , they should have been made into "real" stamps. Engraved aerial views are so nice! |

I've recently come across the 'Royal Navy' labels. My Father served on the Renown during the war and I'd love to know more - does anyone know any more about them - why were they printed for example? |
