I haven't seen too many of these. Note the perferations are overshot into the large label (second stamp up from bottom left.)

This put me in mind of a cover I had sitting in a bottom drawer:



How cheap can you get? Sending a letter unpaid (with a Duty stamp instead of a postage stamp), and charged Postage Due, to the Salvation Army?

These labels are from the US? Or Canada, or somewhere else?

Are you able to get the photo a bit bigger? They look quite nice. Just to try to understand all the stamps.

Looks like it might be from the 1940's or so..Londonbus will probably give one of his pinkies for it !

Actually, I think they are from the 1970's. They are from the USA. The bottom strip is about summer camps, so probably a fund raising insert (a take-off from the likes of Easter Seals, Christmas Seals, Boys Town, etc.)

thanks for the scans wt1. Really nice stamps. The slogans are typically 70s, 80s, but great.
