Philatelic Centre advises me today that the press sheet (at $180!) is now sold out.
I visited and called seven post offices in Ottawa today and cold not locate a whale pair. I found only two singles. |

Just to make sure, everybody's got a little one in the bottom left of the 2x10$ little pages? |

Here are some close ups of my sheet, little divers color charts on the lower left corner of each pane. An example of the uncut press sheet of this issue was sold tonight on ebay for US $394.86! It is worthwhile watching the trend of this hot item. |

Spoted the same one...was wondering when the biding war was gonna begin...first bid was made yesterday only. Nice to see people are already paying x2 after only 10 days. Obviously the fact that it's sold out helps a lot. |

The white diver appears above the whale and is seen only with a black or ultraviolet light/lamp. There's also a school of krill in invisible pink tagging ink in front of the whale. The diver should not be visible without the lamp. I haven't opened my uncut press sheet, but the diver is not visible to the naked eye on the 3 singles I have. |

Here's the two invisible tagging ink security measures photographed while using a longwave ultraviolet lamp. The scuba diver is in white above the whale and the school of krill in pink is in the UR corner of the stamp. Scanned the photo in 96dpi and then reduced to 65% of actual and it comes out this small to meet the image rules. Get your granny glasses out ! |

That is 90 pixels by 37 pixels, but only 1.36 kb (1360 bytes).
You still have a 88.6 kb to go to reach the limit (90,000 bytes).
Nice pic though, from what I can see. . |

But Bee See, that was borrowed from ebay. This one is a 'real' photo for sure, not altered possibly (who said that?) to appear better. Worthy of consideration BlackJag, when (not if) you figure it all out. |

Ther is another uncut press sheet for sale on ebay. Starts ŕ 275$ Today at the stamp expo, a merchant was selling little panes of 2 whale for 10% under, so 18$ no tax. |

That dealer must be hoping for repeat business or it is a loss-leader......the next $10 stamp you buy from him may cost you $15.
I bought a pair yesterday at the Post Office, and with Tax, it cost $22.40 |

Collectors outside of Canada don't have to pay TST (Tons of Tax) but they still have to pay face... so 10% below seems a bit bizarre on a new issue... |
