Many colleges at Oxford and Cambridge issued there own stamps for on-campus messenger services. There's a thorough listing of these in the SG QV Specialised catalogue.
Quite rare items. These were the only ones I've had, which turned a pretty penny (£160) when I sold them.
These were tucked away in the bottom of a cheap box lot I bought from a certain dealer in Sydney that runs the other board. About the only thing I ever got out of him!

Is that other board the one that has a whole bunch of threads counting upwards, backwards, upside down etc?
I imagine they are as rare as rocking-horse poo on cover! I assume they're engraved, but my reference is a long way from me at the moment, and the stamps are back in the UK.
