You're right George. I didn't pay attention to the small writings. Then it would be #174. But then it could be #174a i'm not sure if it's rose carmine or carmine even with the color gauge I have. Anyway it' a good value! I'm not very familiar with classical british and colonies stamps. I had a good practice when I bought a Zanzibar collection. Daniel
those are the horizontal lines. check the watermark to see if it is the single cipher

figure out what color it is. it is the earlier version. the horizontal lines match.
